Magic | Poetry 101 Rehab

Mara Eastern’s Poetry 101 Rehab
Hosted by Andy Townend
Prompt: Magic

“Waning Crescent Moon”

Bounded by branches, the waning crescent moon lingers…
magic hanging in the air past time, smoothing
wrinkles in life’s fabric, paving
paths to new transitions
that fill the heart
with happiness
and dreams
fulfilled

The poem’s imagery comes from the accompanying photograph, taken some years ago, and fantasy books I’ve read across many decades.
