Spring’s Bounty | Poetry 101 Rehab

Mara Eastern’s Poetry 101 Rehab
currently hosted by Andy Townend
Prompt: Flora

Spring Flowers

“Where Flora Walks”

Spring flaunts her beauty
Wherever graceful Flora
sets her foot to Earth.

Waves of honey bees
drink deeply of the nectars
given by Spring’s Gods.

Flowers bloom and spread
their seeds upon warm breezes,
gently lay them down.

I am envisioning, for the purposes of the poem, nature as extensions of the Gods. The warm breezes are arms given to the flowers by Flora to scatter seeds to grow and reproduce  farther afield than they would otherwise.  The structure of the poem is three 5-7-5 (English haiku)  stanzas.
