Gypsum board, drywall and plasterboard are actually the same product. A gypsum interior that is covered with think cardboard is something they have for preventing the gypsum from breaking when installed or sawn. They sometimes confuse plasterers Melbourne. Nothing can be nailed into drywall or plasterboard as gypsum is a relatively soft material and it would not hold on, this is not recommended for commercial plastering. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are Drywall and Plasterboard?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In\nAmerica, plasterboard is called sheetrock. They are a different thickness but\nare the same product. The core plasterboard is just gypsum. Naturally occurring\ngypsum would be grounded into fine powder when plasterboard is made. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
