Finding My Way Home

Belonging, being part of a home, as opposed to just living in a house with other people, gives opportunities (and the hazards involved) in opening oneself to caring. Sometimes, beyond forever. One can “leave” home, but bring it along. One may add to it, piling joy on joy. Lose its pieces … its people. Sometimes home vanishes from sight. Through the hurt, one waits to recognize and rediscover it in its new guise.

home is where my heart
was broken into pieces—
love and healing…free gifts
