Storm of the Century | #RonovanWrites #Haiku

January Frost

cars lost in deep drifts
snow cloaking streets and foot paths
frost-singed fingers

cold snap of the century…
until the rain began

    1. Naw, not this time. I was looking at the pictures online and thinking back to the year (winter of 1996-97) that we got 117″ of snow during the winter season and ended up with floods and fires and bridges damaged or washed away. Feeling grateful that we don’t get lake-effect or ocean-effect weather here. 😀
