While I do enjoy the winter’s snow (shortage of mud for the puppies to track in), I long for summer’s rain–the towering clouds and lightning and the breathtaking winds that shake large branches as they chase the rain and push the drops horizontal with their breath. I never feel so *alive* as in the midst of a summer storm.
