Haiku – trees and rainbows

Do earth’s trees caress
those rainbows with sweet branches,
in hopes they’ll linger?

Inspired by a photo of and a haiku about a rainbow at The Aran Artisan: Farewell to Winter. Evidently spring arrives much earlier there than in North Dakota, where we can expect blizzards and ice storms as late as April … and some years, snow well into May.
