Old poetry

Going through my files, looking for those that missed the purge schedule for clients’ work, I came across one of my poetry chapbooks; it holds some of my poems from the mid 1970s to late 1980s. I’ve posted several, already, on my informal “Stray Coffee Breaks” blog.

Snow, light-reddened, falls
outside the window,
tears inside forbidden so to fall.
The night sings closely to my mind.
Lake nearness on a summer’s day the snow,
my other visage.
