Just Before Dawn | Ronovanwrites Haiku #75: Charm&Look

“Just Before Dawn”

Hold the charm tightly.
Behind you, small fairies dance.
Don’t look now! Listen…

Magic in the hills!
Crickets sing their dancing tunes,
bullfrogs watch the beat.

As morning mists fade,
sunlight busses the treetops…
the old magic sleeps.

Look for fairies, still
behind the flower petals
as we fly away.

          1. No, the windy wet weather has passed. Bitter cold and unseasonably warm are taking turns now, very little wind which is typical. I am not missing it.

I will try to make haiku this week…the photo word is red. Busy days with the five children’s school plays, parties and craft fair on the island. And of course the adult parties and work.

Enjoy your week (and snow flurries if they appear 🙂 ).

            1. I will look forward to your haiku! Our snow cover, such as it was, is near to gone, again. Rain. Who would have thought?

I have gotten both of my weekly challenge poems written this morning. What am I going to do with the rest of the week? ::looks around:: Oh! Housework! ::sighs::
::pathetic droop of the shoulders:: 😀
