Oh, Rubbish!

Prompt: Rubbish

“Oh, Rubbish!”
by Liz Bennefeld

One man’s discard is another man’s treasure
What’s poison for me might be good for you
One person’s loss is another’s windfall
What’s sold as a lie may be tried and true

One lump of coal can be dirty or warming
A fine pearl once was the oyster’s pain
One’s worst curse, a wise woman’s blessing
Rubbish in the dustbin is the trashman’s gain

  1. The words are purposeful yet thay invite to dream and look alongside pathways.
We could take a walk on the sandy path through a field to cross it. Or we can dance around on the green grass and maybe pick a flower or two…

But above all we should never forget that we are affected by others and that others are always affected by us.

A really, really, REALLY INSPIRATIONAL POEM !.
